Crash Games

Crash Games

Crash is fast, social and unmistakably crypto-native: a multiplier climbs from 1x and can “bust” at any instant — your job is to cash out before it does.

How crash works

You place a bet before the round. A multiplier starts at 1.00x and rises continuously; you can cash out at any moment to lock in your bet times the current multiplier. If the round busts before you cash out, you lose the bet. Cash out at 3.20x and you win 3.2x your stake — but a fraction of a second later it might bust at 3.30x, and you’d have won nothing. That tension is the whole game.

The house edge and instant-bust

The edge comes from a small probability of an instant bust (busting at ~1.00x) plus the payout math, giving a typical house edge of around 1%. It’s transparent and low, but permanent: aim higher and you win more when you win, but you bust before cashing out more often. There is no cash-out target that beats the 1% — the expected value is the same whether you always cash at 1.5x or chase 100x.

Provably fair

Reputable crash games are provably fair: the bust point for each round is pre-committed via a hashed seed you can verify afterwards, so the casino can’t move the crash point once bets are in. You can check any past round yourself.

Auto-cashout and “strategies”

Auto-cashout (set a multiplier and let it fire automatically) and two-bet schemes change your variance, not your edge. The popular “one safe low bet + one moonshot” split feels clever but has the same expected value as any other approach — the house edge is unchanged. Crash rewards discipline (a fixed auto-cashout, a strict loss limit), not a system.

Where to play

Crash was popularised by Stake and Roobet, and there’s deep provably-fair crash at BC.Game (mind its trust flags) and Cloudbet — see the best crash gambling sites. Decide your cash-out and your limit before the multiplier starts climbing.
