App Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 July 2026 · Applies to the BTC Casino News Android app (com.btccasinonews.app).
BTC Casino News is an independent editorial app that publishes crypto-casino reviews, bonus information, ranked lists and news. This policy explains the very small amount of data the app handles. We designed the app to work without an account and to collect as little as possible.
In short: no account, no name or email, no location, no financial information. The only data leaving your device is (1) an app-generated random device ID and a push token — only if you turn on notifications — and (2) ordinary network requests to load our content. We don’t sell your data.
What we collect
- Device notification token & a random device ID — only if you enable news notifications. When you opt in, the app registers a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push token together with a randomly generated device identifier (a UUID created on your device — it is não your hardware ID, advertising ID, phone number or any account) and your chosen content language, so we can send breaking-news alerts in the right language. If you never enable notifications, this is never sent.
- Standard request data — like any app or website, our servers and content delivery network receive the normal technical information needed to serve a request (e.g. IP address and user-agent) and may log it briefly for security and reliability. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
- On-device preferences — your theme (light/dark), language and the casinos you save for later are stored locally on your device only and are not transmitted to us.
What we do NOT collect
- No name, email address, phone number or account — the app has no sign-up.
- No precise or approximate location.
- No financial or payment information — the app cannot take deposits or wagers and processes no money.
- No contacts, messages, photos, files or health data.
- No advertising ID and no third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.
How the data is used
- The push token, device ID and language are used solely to deliver news notifications you asked for, and to stop sending them if you opt out or uninstall.
- Request logs are used only for security, abuse prevention and keeping the service running.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data and we do not share it for advertising. The only third party involved is Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, which transmits the push notifications on our behalf; its handling of the push token is governed by Google’s privacy policy. Data is sent over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
Outbound links to casinos (affiliate disclosure)
Some links in the app lead to third-party casino operators, and some of those are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up. Tapping such a link opens your device’s browser and leaves the app — anything you do on that operator’s site is governed by their privacy policy and terms, not ours. Affiliate relationships never influence our review scores or editorial content.
Age restriction — 18+
BTC Casino News covers real-money gambling and is intended only for adults aged 18 or older (or the legal gambling age where you live, if higher). It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. The app is an information and education service only; it is not a casino and offers no way to gamble, deposit or wager. Please gamble responsibly — help is available at BeGambleAware.org and, in the US, at 1-800-GAMBLER.
Data retention & your choices
- Turn notifications off anytime in the app’s Settings or your system settings — this stops the push token from being used.
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data (saved casinos, preferences) and deactivates the push token.
- Deletion request — to have your device record and push token deleted from our server, email us (below) and we’ll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how the app handles data, we’ll update this page and its “last updated” date.
