Its definitely a very easy recipe to follow if you want to make a healthy and tasty smoothie. I had some trouble getting the mint flavor right though. There are three ways to get mint: add a teaspoon of a mint extract in the blender; chop a whole mint leaf and add in the blender; or maybe add it to a mint tea. I decided to add it to the blender and add it as a last minute ingredient.
The mint flavor is a pretty strong flavor that makes my smoothie taste like mint ice cream instead of smoothie. The taste of cucumber actually works very well with the mint flavor and helps bring out the smoothie’s sweetness. I think I’ll add it to my smoothie next time.
If you wanted a mint extract, you could always add it to the blender too. This is definitely one of the easiest ways to get mint extract in a blender chop a whole mint leaf and add it to a mint tea.

If you do this, I’d add fresh mint leaves to a water or tea infuser in the morning and then add a few drops (about 1/4 of a tea spoon) of mint extract to the water in the evening. I think you might need to add a small amount of tea extract to the water to get the same effect.
