Global payments technology provider MA Stock announced impressive financial achievements for the second quarter of 2023. With special items excluded, the company generated net income of $2.8 billion, diluted EPS of $3.00, and adjusted net income of $2.7 billion, diluted EPS of $2.89. 

Higher spending both domestically and abroad helped the company’s net revenue increase by 14% year over year, or 15% on a currency-neutral basis, to $6.3 Billion. As consumer and commercial activity recovered from the pandemic, the company’s gross dollar volume and purchase volume climbed by 12% and 14%, respectively, in local currency.

For the second quarter of 2023, the company’s net revenue climbed by 14%, or 15% on a currency-neutral basis, thanks in part to its payment network and value-added services and solutions.

Due to increasing gross dollar volume, cross-border volume, and switched transactions, the company’s payment network net revenue climbed by 13%, or 14% on a currency-neutral basis.
